Yoifest 2017

YoiFest 2017 is a small scale multi-ethnic festival

Saturday 18th February, 1pm-4pm, at Te Ahu Centre, Kaitaia.

YoiFest Ceilidh starts at 6pm.

Traditional stories in in 5 mother tongues, with a short introduction in English.

Indian and Lebanese dances, inviting you to engage.

A Capella group sings songs from different countries, after which we all join in as a one time multilingual choir: the canon ”Brother John”.

At 6pm Ceilidh band “Raging Gael” gets everyone dancing. Entrance is $10 or $5 and a yummy supper plate.
