Te Pou Theatre Presents – Racists Anonymous

Racists Anonymous (RA) brings people together to tear racism apart. It’s the meeting, the laughter and the immersive satirical theatre experience ya’ll know you need. KAITAIA – JOIN US TODAY!!!

RA is a fellowship of people who share their experiences, strengths and hopes with each other to solve their common problem and help others to recover from the insidious affliction known as Racism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop being racist. Our primary purpose is to stay open minded and help other racists on their journey to being anti-racist.

Nau mai, haere mai – our doors, our ears and our hearts are open for you. Come on in and join our whānau fighting for a world that’s just a little bit better.

Grounded in lived experience, heavy on satire, with a bit of theory and a strong dose of irony, this immersive theatrical experience is the comedy show we didn’t know we needed. Join us on the RA waka as we traverse the unexpected path of the average racist.
