A cordial invitation is extended to you to view

Of paintings by

Gena and Robin Shepherd.

The exhibition comprises a range of styles and subjects which sample the works of these two painters across the last 65 years.

All but four of the paintings have been taken from the artists’ personal collections. They acknowledge that the displayed paintings may not be their “best” works but many of those are in distant locations in New Zealand, overseas in UK, Germany, USA, Singapore and Australia and difficult to access for a short exhibition.

Neither of these painters considers themselves to be anything other than amateurs who enjoy attempting to capture and or translate the world they see and know.

The exhibition venue is

Te Ahu Centre, Kaitaia

Opening at 10.30am on Saturday the 3rd of August

And will run for all of that month during business hours seven days a week.

Admission free.
