A Spectacular and Rare Opportunity in the beautiful Kaitaia and Far North NZ to see Nanny Assis and Maggie Gould opening the Kaitaia Music Festival with a mix of Brazilian rhythm and jazz. The songs chosen are a romantic and upbeat mix, with a bit of New York style – Bossa Nova, Jobim, Gilberto, to Stevie Wonder to Ella. Nanny vocalist, guitarist percussionist and song writer will at times sooth the audience with his vocals then get the audience dancing to his percussion. Nanny has won best male vocalist 2017 and lifetime achievement award in Brazliian Jazz. The songs will also have the audience dancing in the aisles. Nanny has Maggie Gould on vocals,, just released Todo Amor at The blue Note, Kevin Field, keyboard, Alex Griffth, bass and Ron Samson, drums, all international musicians to create an evening of story telling.

 

 

 

Ice Skate Tour – Kaitaia

Kaitaia be prepared for a cool but not cold ice skating experience! Our visit is part of a FUNdraiser for Kaingaroa School. Prices are $8 for kids under 16, $12 for adults and $35 for a family pass (2 adults + 2 kids OR 1 Adult + 3 Kids) which includes ice skates, helmet, gloves and at least half an hour ice skating (longer if capacity allows).
